Success story of Hnin Thet Paing

Hnin Thet Paing is a seventeen-year-old girl who lives in Thanlyin, one of the biggest slum areas in Yangon, Myanmar. She comes from a family of five: her grandmother, mother, uncle, younger brother, and herself.

She was suffering from a breast lump and had the lump removed with the help of a local charity hospital and the SANNI Foundation. The child is working at a neighborhood convenience store, and the grandmother is a street vendor and takes care of the family.

Due to her health and her mother’s serious headache from a tumor, she wanted to study something related to health and wanted to help people with their health. The SANNI Foundation provided her with nurse aid and pharmacy training, and now she fulfills her wishes by helping people and working as a professional at the same time.
