Kaung Myat Hein is an eighteen-year-old girl who lives in Shwe Pyi Thar, one of the largest slum areas in Yangon, Myanmar. His family is made up of five people: his parents, Kaung Myat Hein, and two younger sisters (child sponsorship registered children) that they are temporarily taking care of.
Both of his parents are lifelong patients at our Lotus clinic, which is supported by the SANNI Foundation. The child finished until Grade 9, but was unable to continue his education due to the family’s financial situation. Our child program supported the boy’s vocational training, and he recently completed the basic mobile phone software and hardware service training class and is now waiting to attend the advanced class. Kaung Myat Hein and his family are grateful for the chance that the SANNI Foundation has given him for a brighter future.
