Three events – one mission

Dear friends of the SANNI Foundation

The summer of 2025 was an intense and successful time for us: through several remarkable events, many wonderful people came together – with heart, dedication, and the shared desire to create real change. Together, we made a difference, learned from one another, and provided help where it was needed most.

Below is a look back at our event highlights – from art and meaningful encounters to hands-on engagement by the lake.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who, with their time, energy, passion, and donations, made each of these events possible. Your commitment strengthens our efforts where the need is greatest.

Warm regards,
Yours, Susanne Schroff

Charity Auction at Art Karlsruhe – July 4, 2025

At the charity auction organized by the Friends and Supporters of Art Karlsruhe, numerous art lovers gathered to bid on works that support social causes. Thanks to this initiative, funds were raised that will now go directly to charitable projects – and give people hope. Learn more

Lunch with Purpose – September 5, 2025

On September 5, more than 50 committed women gathered for Lunch with Purpose at the Kittenmühle restaurant – a lunch with heart and meaning. With an impressive donation total of CHF 72,740.00, we are making the following possible:

  • We are securing education, care, and health care for 14 children for the coming years through sponsorships

  • Almost 70 families affected by the earthquake will receive urgently needed help: shelter, food parcels, medical care, and long-term support to rebuild their income

An intense event with exchange, inspiration, and active solidarity – initiated by the foundation board members Corinne Fischer, Marianne Walde, Ursina Schneider-Bodmer, and Susanne Schroff

SANNI Activity Day at Lake Greifensee – September 6, 2025

On September 6, over 60 participants gathered for the SANNI Activity Day at Lake Greifensee. Exercise, games, and conversation created an atmosphere of liveliness and community. It was a day that showed that commitment works—and brings people together.

The Activity Day was organized on the initiative of Mike Bär—and this was not the first time, which is a wonderful sign of how people are committed to our cause with heart and energy.

A big thank you also goes to the workshop leaders, the helpers in the background, and especially our sponsors Tomfitmbaer – The Swiss Merchant Bank, and SECOMP, whose generous support made the Activity Day possible in the first place.

Become a part of the SANNI Foundation and give children a better future

Would you also like to contribute to giving one or more children a better future? For less than 1 CHF or 1 EUR per day (360 CHF or 360 EUR per year) you can sponsor a child in Myanmar and join our mission. A sponsorship provides a child living in poverty with support in the areas of nutrition, education, household and hygiene, as well as special lessons and vocational training when they are older. You can find more information at:

Don’t want to make a long-term commitment, but want to provide important help in the current emergency? Donations of any amount to our children’s fund, whose resources are used exclusively for the benefit of children in Myanmar, are always welcome.
