Success story of Aye Hnin Nyein

Aye Hnin Nyein is a two-year-old girl who lives with her family in Hlaing Thar Yar, one of the largest slum areas in Yangon, Myanmar. Sadly, the child is suffering from congenital anomalies, and it is difficult for both her family and herself.

Her father is a general worker and does any odd jobs to feed the family, and it is hard to get a regular job with a decent income with the current inflation and country’s situation. The mother is occupied with taking care of the child and the household, so we supported the family with a small vegetable shop in front of their house so that the mother could do a business, receive extra income, and look after the child at the same time.
