Pyae Lwin Oo lives in Hlaing Thar Yar Township, Yangon, Myanmar, with a family shaped by both love and loss. He grew up with his parents, an older brother, an older sister, and a younger sister. When Pyae Lwin Oo was only eight years old, his father passed away, leaving a deep emotional and financial void in the household. Years later, in 2014, he became a sponsored child after his grandmother came to our clinic for diabetes treatment and was referred to our program.<\/p>\n

In 2022, Pyae Lwin Oo\u2019s mother remarried. The change in family dynamics affected him deeply, and he gradually lost interest in school. After leaving school, Pyae Lwin Oo and his younger sister began living with their maternal grandmother, while his two older siblings remained with their mother in her new household. Although separated, they stayed in contact and visited whenever possible. During this time, Pyae Lwin Oo spent his days learning and assisting at a small cycle repair shop near his grandmother\u2019s home. There, he developed discipline, basic technical skills, and a sense of responsibility, quietly preparing himself for adulthood.<\/p>\n

By 2025, Pyae Lwin Oo reached the age of 18\u2014a turning point in his life. Recognizing his growing need for independence and direction, our team began accompanying his journey, helping him explore career paths and a future beyond survival. He expressed interest in attending sewing machine operator training, knowing that this skill could lead directly to work in a clothing factory. With the support made possible by SANNI Foundation, he enrolled in a vocational training program.<\/p>\n

After one month of dedicated training, the program connected him with a job opportunity. Pyae Lwin Oo was hired and began working at a factory. For the first time, he could provide for himself with dignity. To be closer to his workplace, he now lives with relatives in the same township. Despite his young age, he has already begun to shoulder responsibility, offering occasional financial support to both his mother and his grandmother.<\/p>\n

Pyae Lwin Oo\u2019s 11-year journey is one of resilience and quiet courage. From a child who lost his father too soon, to a teenager who felt lost, and now to a young man standing on his own feet\u2014his transformation reflects what compassionate support can achieve. This new chapter in his life is possible because of the unwavering generosity of the SANNI Foundation and its donors. Your kindness has not only changed his present, but has given him something even more powerful: a future filled with purpose and hope.<\/p>\n<\/div>
