The Jugendsforschungszenturm (engl.: Youth Research Centre) in Pforzheim is a place where interested and motivated pupils are advised on their individual projects (e.g. Jugend forscht) and supported with materials and machines, as well as a network of companies and training centres / universities. Here, young people are shown the fascination of technology and natural sciences at an early age.
A project where young people can get to know STEM professions through workshops and internships in companies. The project aims to inspire enthusiasm for STEM and actively counteract the shortage of skilled workers through practical experience. At six vocational schools and grammar schools in Pforzheim, pupils can choose between various workshops offered by around 15 companies in the STEM sector.
A Place To Grow
Composer and music producer Goar Biesenkamp offers a music concept for the integration and inclusion of disadvantaged children and young people as part of his initiative “G-Culture”. By making music together, people and cultures get connected, solidarity gets created and the sense of community will be strengthened.

The association sees itself as a jump start for children & teenagers, parents, schools and interested parties with the aim of raising awareness of the right way to deal with media, especially with regard to important topics such as privacy & data protection, as well as promoting the skills required in the course of digitalization. The team offers lectures, trainings, workshops, information events as well as consulting in all matters related to media literacy.
