The 100-bed hospital on four floors sees to the primary health care of the vulnerable population in Trivandrum and offers both inpatient and outpatient medical care in various fields such as diabetes, general medicine, pediatrics, dermatology, physiotherapy, geriatrics, dialysis and emergency care. In 2012, the hospital’s first operating year, it already saw more than 20,000 patients. Today the number is over 90,000. Thanks to subsidization of the needy patients by the wealthier, the hospital is self-supporting today and is able to finance itself.
