In Myanmar, many children are in great need and are impoverished, malnourished, often HIV-positive, sick and often without parents. Thanks to the Child Fund, the poorest children receive health care, education, vitamin-rich food, and household and hygiene care, until they are securely on the path to self-sufficiency.
The Child Fund also has impact beyond the child and the parents or caregivers will benefit from the relief generated from this support, allowing the household to live more securely. Additionally, we can use this fund to react quickly to other problems such as repairing damaged houses after the monsoon season or provide emergency medical or social support in times of crisis.
