School Package for a Child in Myanmar

State schools do not charge school fees, but the main cost is the materials needed to attend school. Making a Tuberculosis Therapy Possible
Thousands of children and adults in Myanmar suffer from tuberculosis without access to treatment. This is one of the main causes of the high mortality rate. In the cramped conditions of the slums, where access to healthcare is extremely low, the disease spreads easily. At SANNI’s Lotus Clinic, which is located in the center of a slum, tuberculosis is treated free of charge by our team of specialists. The clinic initiates and monitors the specific medication and supports the patients and their families with food parcels, as people are often unable to work during the initial phase of treatment.
With a donation of CHF/EUR 140, you can save someone’s life and give them a very special Christmas present.
Leprosy Recovery Operation in India
Leprosy is a chronic infectious disease that is still very widespread in India. Those affected are usually unemployed due to their severely restricted freedom of movement and are unable to provide for themselves. They are socially ostracized, stigmatized and no longer find a connection. Thanks to a donation of CHF/EUR 530, a leprosy patient can be operated on and treated so that they can get back to life. The reconstructive surgery enables patients with severe physical limitations to move their limbs again and use them to their full extent. In addition, future physical disabilities are prevented during the rehabilitation process. This life-changing therapy is very time-consuming and cost-intensive, as it requires both pre- and post-treatment. In addition to the right medication, patients need above all nutritious food to strengthen their bodies.
By donating a leprosy operation, you are giving a new lease of life to someone affected. Moving freely, going to work and being together with friends and family – the most beautiful happiness will then become reality again for these people.

In the SANNI sewing factory founded by Frédérique Hutter, women learn to sew and find a place where they can develop their skills.
